GaGa Rises to the Occasion at The Grammys. Blows World Away.

Holy Shit! Everybody knew that GaGa would rise to the occasion. But, even the most optimistic Little Monsters had to be BLOWN AWAY.

GaGa was able to channel two of the most iconic moments from her epic Friday appearance at the 2010 Lollapalooza.

Insane rock-n-roll dancing to Metallica (channeling the dance (with hairspray fires and Starlight) while dancing to Metal Militia).

Then, she followed it up by channeling the legendary stage dive (during SPW's set) at the BMI stage.

It was absolutely fantastic and in terms of hard-core, SEXY, rocking--it was (hands down) GaGa's greatest live performance ever.

I actually wish GaGa would (someday) do an entire concert with Metallica.

The fact is, the Grammys got the performance of a lifetime and internet denizens got a lifetime worth of crazy, rocking, sexy, GaGa .gif material.

GaGa (as usual) answers the bell like the hard-core, rocking, motherfucking bitch that she is.

And, we expected nothing less.

.Gifs are the real story of AHS: Hotel.

We all know that GaGa's performance is mesmerizing and one of the most kick-ass things in the history of popular culture.

No sense in belaboring the point. GaGa kicks-ass in AHS: Hotel. We have already gotten that

The last thing anyone wants to be is the sort of late-to-the-game wannabe that is live-tweeting how great she is (during tonight's premiere).

GaGa kicks-ass. Get it? Got it? Good.

The real story is going to be the competition (among lifeless internet denizens) for re-tweets and social media love connected with the.gifs that they make.

For weeks people have been wetting their panties, creaming their jeans, killing their families, whoring themselves out on BP to upgrade their internet speed, coming out of their skin, etc.--all due to the anticipated frenzy of being the first to make the .gifs that are going to come out of AHS: Hotel.

The same people who made the Jessica Lange .gifs and the .gifs from every GaGa video and live appearance ever--are literally freaking out as they countdown the seconds to the AHS: Hotel premiere.

The same thing happened two weeks ago when Scream Queens premiered. It was a competition among lifeless internet denizens to see who could get the most social media validation from their .gifs.

The .gifs usually show up at those havens for people who need lives. Places like pop music forums and fan-sites. It always seems to be the same sort of lifeless fuck (who fits the generic profile of social media whore) spamming the fuck out of these .gifs at various social media sites.

For example, here is one that came from Scream Queens:

We can only hope for such epicness to come out of the AHS: Hotel premiere.

It will truly be a competition (a "race to the bottom" if you will) to see which lifeless internet denizen (who truly needs a life and lacks any sort of social interaction beyond the aspirations of re-tweets and social media love) will get their .gif creation to rise to the top of the heap on social media.

The key point will be which .gifs (from AHS:Hotel (especially, those searched as "Lady GaGa AHS: Hotel)) will rise to the top result in Google search.

The gauntlet has been thrown down, bitches.

This is not to say that we don't respect the rights of the Little Monsters who post the way they do, or to say that we don't think that most of them are, at their core, good and decent human beings. They are 99% harmless, and they have every right to behave as they wish on the internet. We are not their parents, or their police.

This is simply to say that we believe there is a TIME and a PLACE for everything -- and THIS place and THIS time, right here, was made to be a haven away from all of that. Quite simply, we deserve not to be distracted or bothered with that kind of behaviour.

We've done our time. We've been there, done that, got the teeshirt on forums. And, of course, some of us here have done some spamming or "goofing off" in our day! We aren't saints, who is? But the difference is we've grown out of that need to get attention from people, and now we sorely need a place where we can seek opinions and get real feedback from other adults and like-minded folks such as us.
