And not just Lady Gaga fans -- but fans of music, art, culture, and history -- a place to post where you will never be bothered by the rampant immaturity and raging pointlessness that has overtaken some areas of the Gaga fan community today.
This is not to say that we don't respect the rights of the Little Monsters who post the way they do, or to say that we don't think that most of them are, at their core, good and decent human beings. They are 99% harmless, and they have every right to behave as they wish on the internet. We are not their parents, or their police.
This is simply to say that we believe there is a TIME and a PLACE for everything -- and THIS place and THIS time, right here, was made to be a haven away from all of that. Quite simply, we deserve not to be distracted or bothered with that kind of behaviour.
We've done our time. We've been there, done that, got the teeshirt on forums. And, of course, some of us here have done some spamming or "goofing off" in our day! We aren't saints, who is? But the difference is we've grown out of that need to get attention from people, and now we sorely need a place where we can seek opinions and get real feedback from other adults and like-minded folks such as us.
So, a few of us dedicated Adults reconnected with the founders of the first fearless blog, Lady Monster Teeth.com. Slowly, gradually, a plan was born... offer the fanbase something it doesn't seem to have... fill a pressing need that is generally overlooked... help people in need who are feeling trapped or drowned out in other places...
